We have a client that owns a sailboat making company that is looking to draft an asset purchase agreement to sell all of the parts they have in their inventory to make a specific line of sailboat (moulds, jigs, templates) and the trademark. In other words, they want to divest a specific line of boat they make includes parts and trademark. They have multiple buyers that are interested, and one in particular has asked for a contract to review. They want to work with an attorney to draft an agreement that can be used for this deal, even if the current potential buyer decides not to move forward. The value of the transaction is $50,000. For your bid, feel free to offer a flat fee and include what that flat fee will cover. If you want to include an hourly rate for negotiation, feel free to include that in your bids. Please also make sure to be specific about your relevant experience with asset purchase agreements or whatever contract the client would need.
