I am licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, as well as in the United States Federal Court, Southern District of Florida. I have been involved in the legal profession for the last nine years, with four years spent as a Law Clerk and the other five spent as an attorney. I have represented large corporations at hearings, depositions, and trial, as well as at both mediation and global mediation. I have handled complex Special Investigative Unit insurance claims from inception to trial, as well as pre-suit settlements when warranted. I have conducted Legal research on a variety of cases. I have extensive experience interpreting, reviewing and drafting contracts, drafting memoranda of law and motions to be submitted to the court. I have experience creating business entities from inception. I have also reviewed businesses internal structures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, with an extra focus in the health care industry. Since leaving the area of personal injury defense, I have focused my law practice in business law. I have experience drafting a wide variety of documents required for the smooth functioning of small or medium-sized businesses. This includes, but is not limited to: Formation Documents, Independent Contractor Agreements, Employment Agreements, Employee Handbooks, Letters of Intent, Asset purchase/Buy-Sell Agreements, Stock Purchase Agreements, Liability Waivers, SAAS, TOS, Non-Compete, Non-Solicitation, and Non-Disclosure Agreements, as well as Residential and Commercial Leases, promissory notes, mortgage agreements, and escrow agreements. Throughout my career thus far, I have gained significant experience interpreting contracts for determination of insurance policy coverage, as well as STARK, Anti-kickback, and HIPAA regulations.
