Project Description

In 2023, a business in Colorado sought assistance with drafting a content license agreement for their proprietary healthcare software. The client aimed to establish a licensing arrangement with a potential partner in India, who would utilize the software and might develop a new application that could be commercialized. While the client had prepared a preliminary contract, they recognized the need for legal expertise to ensure that the agreement was comprehensive and clear, particularly regarding royalty payments for any successful developments. As a result, the client received five proposals from licensed lawyers, with flat fee bids ranging from $700 to $1,600, all submitted to meet the requested deadline of less than a week.
