Project Description

In 2023, a business in North Carolina sought assistance with a content license agreement. The client was requested to sign a contract that granted exclusive rights to their creative work for two years, along with concerns about retaining copyright and usage rights. They found the initial contract to be heavily skewed in favor of the other party and aimed to negotiate terms that would allow for sub-licensing while maintaining control over their content. As a result, the client received six proposals from licensed attorneys, with flat fee bids ranging from $450 to $1,250, all submitted to ensure completion within less than a week.
