Project Description

In 2023, a business in Pennsylvania sought assistance regarding a content license agreement associated with an eLearning series it produced for an educational publisher. The client had signed a Contributor's License Agreement but found themselves in a challenging situation after failing to receive updates or involvement in the development of the project for six months. They were concerned that the publisher had taken control of the project without their input and were eager to understand their rights under the agreement, particularly regarding the potential termination of the licensing arrangement. As a result, the client received five proposals from licensed lawyers, with flat fee bids ranging from $350 to $750, all submitted to complete the work within the requested deadline of one week.
