Project Description

In 2026, a personal client in Oregon posted a project seeking assistance with a content license agreement related to sharing software between sister study groups. The client needed a cursory review to establish an estimate for a thorough evaluation and was also interested in obtaining a fixed cost estimate for the review. Addressing concerns such as HIPAA compliance responsibilities, data retrieval in the event of license termination, and a cost increase cap was a priority for the client. As a result, the client received 11 proposals from licensed lawyers, with flat fee bids ranging from $249 to $1,250. All proposals were submitted to complete the work within the requested deadline of one week.
