What is an Actor Employment Agreement?
An actor employment agreement is a legal contract between an actor and production company that affirms an actors acceptance of a role in a production. The contract states who the parties are, when the project starts and ends, and what roles and regulations each party must follow under the contract terms. It also states the compensation rates that apply to the project and what protocols will be taken if either party violates the terms of the agreement.
The purpose of the actor employment agreement is to formally sign an actor on to a production initiative and to regulate the relationship between actor and production company.

New Job Contract Review-Need Completed by Monday Morning
"I cannot recommend Dolan highly enough. My potential employer gave me an extremely tight deadline to have my employment contract reviewed, so I sent him a 17-page employment agreement on a Saturday afternoon. Despite the complexity of the contract and the short timeframe, he completed a thorough, detailed review and had it back to me by Sunday morning. I was incredibly impressed by both the quality of his work and his turnaround time. His proposed revisions were thoughtful, well-written, and clearly addressed key areas of the agreement. He also included detailed notes explaining each recommendation, what it meant, and why it was important. He responded to my messages quickly, walked me through the entire process, and made sure I understood the contract and its implications. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and wants them to make informed decisions. I would absolutely hire Dolan again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney."
California Employment Agreement Review and Recomendations
"I have no positive words for this experience"
Reply From William B.
This review is clearly an anomaly, among 40+ extremely positive reviews. At a certain point, one has to question whether this reflects more on the person being reviewed, or the person giving the review. I wish we could have had a more mutually-respectful and empathetic experience, however, I still appreciate the business!
