What is an Internal Agreement?
An internal agreement is a contract between two parties within the same company or organization that functions to unite the parties toward a common goal. The contract states who the parties are, what their roles and responsibilities will be under the new agreement, and how long the agreement should last. It also notes what the goal of the relationship is and what the terms and conditions of the relationship are.
By drafting and signing an internal agreement, companies and organizations can successfully create internal relationships that are legally sound. The agreement also ensures that both parties understand their role in the relationship from the beginning.
