In my thirteen years of practice, I've had the opportunity to argue cases in state, federal, and tribal courts; in subjects as diverse as gaming, land tenure, water rights, treaty rights, finance, employment, criminal defense, conflict of laws, and tort (among others). But the real value I brought my clients came through avoiding litigation, fostering relationships, and developing long-term strategies.

I began my career with the U.S. Senate Energy Committee, where I gained insights into regulatory frameworks and the legislative processes. Following that, I honed my skills as a law clerk and prosecutor, providing me with a solid foundation in litigation and public service. My time working at reputable law firms focused on commercial litigation and criminal defense and has equipped me with the tools to navigate complex legal disputes effectively. Additionally, I worked as US Legal Counsel to an international energy corporation which has given me a unique perspective on the legal challenges faced by businesses today. Education Jim Schroeder holds multiple degrees from several institutions. He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Camden New Jersey. He also earned two additional Master’s Degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky and United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. In addition, Schroeder has done graduate work in Public Sector Labor Relations and American History at Rutgers University and Nonprofit Leadership at Duke University.
