During this time Mark has had extensive experience in handling and responding to a wide range of local, state and federal employment issues that impact the management and operations of businesses in a wide range of industries. Mark's experience includes appearances before state and federal agencies and regulatory boards, litigation in both state and federal courts, defense of class actions and appearances before courts of appeal. While Mark regularly handles matters in litigation, he has a high regard for handling every issue with the best interest of the client’s business. Mark is a published author and regular speaks on labor, employment and workplace practice topics. Whether it be an investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Wage & Hour division of the U.S. Department of Labor, or other state agency; an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or state agency charge claiming a violation of local, state or federal employment or labor laws; or the need for direction on a hiring, termination or business operational issue involving employees, Mark has extensive experience in handling these and many other employment and labor issues.

In the process of drafting comprehensive wills and trusts, I carefully account for every asset and plan for any tax burdens that may arise, often facilitating a much smoother inheritance for the heirs of my clients. Prior to becoming certified as a CPA, I made sure to establish a solid foundation in business both in and out of the classroom, and the acumen I’ve attained has served me well. Not only am I better able to run my own practice than I otherwise would be; I am able to help other small business owners fulfill their dreams, as well.

Tom is a former chief legal officer of public and private companies. He has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, commercial transactions, joint ventures, finance, securities laws and general corporate law across a broad range of industries, including construction, consumer products, e-commerce, energy and healthcare. As an attorney who practiced at two different Top 50 international law firms, he can deliver "Big Law" service at a competitive price. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Tom served as an officer in the U.S. Army and attained the rank of Captain. He served a tour in Iraq where he led a reconnaissance platoon and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
