Project Description

In 2024, an individual in New Hampshire posted a project seeking assistance with reviewing a content license agreement necessary for their new business venture. The client had recently launched a small operation focused on producing and selling metal Christmas ornaments depicting landmark buildings on college campuses, which required compliance with royalty payments and trademark licensing agreements. They were specifically looking for legal expertise to assess the agreement provided by the university and to clarify concerns surrounding a clause related to Fair Labor Association membership that they believed did not apply to their small family business. As a result, the client received 12 proposals from qualified attorneys, with flat fee bids ranging from $299 to $2,100, all of which were submitted to meet the client's deadline of over one week.
