What is an Accounts Receivable Purchase?
The accounts receivable purchase is a contract between a buyer and seller where the buyer agrees to exchange money to receive something from the seller. The contract includes details about the item being purchase, what it costs, and when the transaction takes place. It also details what payment methods are accepted and whether a payment plan exists between the two parties.
Accounts receivable purchase agreement also makes it possible for a company to sell invoices that still need to be paid. As a result, sellers gain a reputation as all outstanding debts are sold, and buyers can make a profit.
