What is a Ceasefire Agreement?
A ceasefire agreement is a contract between two warring entities that procures a temporary stoppage of war where both sides agree to stop aggressive actions. This type of agreement is common among countries who wish to preserve their military personnel while negotations are being made to end war. During the time period described within the agreement, neither side can cause physical harm toward the other without risk of legal repercussions.
