What is an Initial Agreement?
An initial agreement is a contract between two or more parties that sets the terms and conditions of a new relationship between them. The contract states who the contract parties are, what obligations they each agree to take on, and when the contract period will begin. By drawing and signing an initial agreement, the contract parties can successfully enter into a legally-binding agreement that unites them toward a common goal.
The purpose of the initial agreement is to set the legal framework that governs the relationship between contract parties. This ensures that the relationship is legally enforceable and that if the contract is breeched, legal recourse can be pursued against the offending party.
