What is a Parent Guarantee?
A parent guarantee is a contract between a company and client that makes certain guarantees that a performance requirement is met. The contract includes details regarding what the company's guarantees are and how they plan to meet them. Under the agreement, the company promises to meet certain milestones by a deadline determined within. The contract is often used to ensure that the company will assume responsibility for making a payment or achieving a goal determined by the two parties before the contract is drawn and signed.
The purpose of the parent guarantee is to obligate a company to follow through on their promises and to assure clients that their goals will be met.
