Hello! My name is Dolan and thank you so much for contacting us.
Usually, you could use the address on the formation documents if you are creating an agreement. You guys could also agree to use any other kind of address that you feel as appropriate, such as a home address where you may receive mail or some PO Box that you have your documentation forwarded to.
The Lord doesn’t require anything in particular, just whatever the parties agree to and whatever makes sense.
Thank you for your quick response. I guess I'm wondering if it is common to use the Property Address that is the investment property as the LLC address or for example in CA they require an office presence and some use a virtual office address on the LLC. For OH I just wanted to know their requirements. Maybe I can research the OH state website a bit. What address would you advise to use as the best legal option for Ohio LLC?
Hello! You're most welcome. I'm sorry for the delay. I see what you mean now. It's actually not typical to use the Property address that the is the investment property. It's typical to have a separate address, such as a USPS box (not a PO Box - there is a difference) or a box with the UPS store, for example. In my experience, going to the USPS and asking for a box with a STREET ADDRESS is best!
