I am a business law attorney with over 15 years’ experience and a strong background in information technology. I am a graduate of the University of California Berkeley, a member of the Illinois bar, New York bar and a licensed lawyer (Solicitor) of England and Wales. I actively partner directly with my clients or indirectly, as Of Counsel, to boutique law firms to streamline business practices and manage legal risks by focusing on essentials such as - business contracts, corporate structure, employment/independent contractor agreements, website terms and policies, IP, technology, and commercial related agreements as well as business risk and compliance guidance.

Darren Craig ("DC") Lamb is the Founder and Managing Partner of DCL Legal, AI, & Business Consulting, a Nashville-based law firm serving entrepreneurs, founders, and growing businesses as outside general counsel. Licensed in TN, KY, and IN, Darren previously served as lead associate at Wilson Elser (AmLaw 200), handling all litigation for a Fortune 500 e-commerce company across KY, IN, and TN, and managing complex coverage matters for a leading international insurance market. DCL Legal focuses on business litigation, commercial contracts, corporate governance, AI & technology advisory, and fractional general counsel engagements — delivering executive-level legal guidance without the cost of full-time in-house counsel.

Jason has been providing legal insight and business expertise since 2001. He is admitted to both the Virginia Bar and the Texas State Bar, and also proud of his membership to the Fellowship of Ministers and Churches. Having served many people, companies and organizations with legal and business needs, his peers and clients know him to be a high-performing and skilled attorney who genuinely cares about his clients. In addition to being a trusted legal advisor, he is a keen business advisor for executive leadership and senior leadership teams on corporate legal and regulatory matters. I am a lawyer who helps small businesses, nonprofits, and startups with a wide variety of agreements, corporate formation, and corporate governance. ​ I earned my BA from Tulane University and my JD from the University of Chicago Law School. Before starting my own practice, I worked at an international law firm in New York City. ​ Outside of work, I am on the board of the nonprofit Seattle REconomy (which runs the NE Seattle and Shoreline tool libraries) and I enjoy gardening, baking bread, and outdoor activities with my spouse and two dogs.

I have over 25 years' experience representing individual and company clients, large and small, in transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private offerings of securities, commercial loans and commercial endeavors (supply contracts, manufacturing agreements, joint ventures, intellectual property licenses, etc.). My particular specialty is in complex and novel drafting.

I am an active member of The Florida Bar, having successfully passed the Florida Bar Examination in September 2023. My legal career spans over seven years, beginning with extensive experience as a law clerk, where I supported attorneys and developed a strong foundation in client-focused legal work. I focus my own practice on business and estate planning matters, including entity formation, corporate governance and compliance, commercial transactions, and long-term planning for individuals, families, and business owners. My estate planning practice focuses on helping individuals and families protect their assets, plan for incapacity, and ensure their wishes are carried out with clarity and confidence. I regularly prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related planning documents, and I take a personalized, practical approach to each plan—ensuring it reflects the client’s goals, family dynamics, and long-term needs while remaining fully compliant with Florida law.

I have been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1999. My work has centered on a wide range of family‑court matters, including divorce, child support, custody, paternity cases, and prenuptial agreements. I also handle broader family‑law services such as Last Will & Testaments, Powers of Attorney, and property‑related issues such as Quit Claim Deeds. In addition to family law, I have extensive experience in consumer bankruptcy law, such as Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and advising clients on issues such as wage garnishments, bank levies, foreclosure defense, repossessions, judgment enforcement, credit card lawsuits, and debt defense tactics. I regularly guide individuals on qualifying for bankruptcy, means‑testing, exemption planning, and strategies to protect assets in divorce and bankruptcy. I developed the Family Law and Bankruptcy Law courses for a law school, and I am the author of Consumer Bankruptcy Law for paralegals and legal professionals, published by Routledge. I also teach business law, economics of law, and bankruptcy in both English and Spanish for an international university.
