Project Description

In 2022, a business in Texas sought assistance with drafting a demand letter related to a breach of contract. The client needed this document to address a situation where commissions owed to them were incorrectly paid to an unrelated representative, rather than following their agreement with two specific entities in the health care industry. With the situation further complicated by the disappearance of the representative, the client needed a professional letter to ensure compliance and prompt payment. As a result, the client received one proposal from a licensed attorney, with a flat fee bid around $230, all submitted to meet the requested deadline of less than one week. The client expressed potential for long-term assistance as they navigate this ongoing issue with multiple businesses.

Can I get helping drafting a demand letter to my former company for my employment claims

Sure. It’s wise to have an attorney review any correspondence you’d send to an adversary you’re contemplating legal action against and it is often the case that such a letter when issued on an attorney’s letterhead triggers a response. That said, employment law is tricky since MA is an at will state meaning an employer can terminate for any reason at all outside of racial/sex/orientation bases or retaliation . Obviously there are nuances, but these are the broad strokes.
