What is a Public Relations Services Agreement?
A public relations services agreement describes the scope and limitations of the relationship between a public relations specialist and client for ongoing services. This agreement can also be used as a master services agreement. The intention of this agreement is to ensure that all parties to the agreement understand what they can and can’t do. It also provides vital documentation needed to support claims made during litigation.
A standard public relations services agreement is composed of a few major elements, including a description of services, compensation details, and payment requirements. Agreements should also include information about any applicable fees, and guidelines surrounding what will happen if either party breaches the contract.
