Right of Entry Agreement Defined
Jump to Section
What is a Right Of Entry Agreement?
A right of entry agreement is a contract between a property owner and a city or county government that allows government employees to enter private property. The contract includes details regarding what type of work the government workers can complete while on the property and whether notice is required before they enter. It also includes information regarding how long the agreement lasts, which is usually 30 days. Another important aspect of this agreement denotes that if a lien is issued on the property during the term of the agreement, land owners cannot file any charges against the county or city.
