What is a Credit Report?
Your credit report is a comprehensive list of your past and present credit accounts as well as loans, as reported by various financial institutions and businesses with whom you have done business. It’s a record of your credit history and activity.
Think of a credit report as your financial resume; this is because it tells the complete story of your overall financial health to prospective lenders and banks. Lenders, credit unions, and other companies might use your credit report in order to learn more about your past borrowing experience.
