What is Valuation?
In startups, a valuation refers to the process where the value of a company is determined. These valuations are important because they help investors to understand the potential of the companies that they give their money to. In regards to startups, valuation is often evaluated before revenue starts coming in. Since startups don’t have a financial history to tell their story, they rely on their valuation to help them attract investors.
