What is a Term Sheet?
A term sheet refers to an agreement between a startup and an investor that lays out the terms of the agreement. Term sheets include information about how much money is being invested, how many shares or how much stake in equity an investor will receive in return, and some conditions of the sale. Term sheets are preliminary documents and the agreements within are not legally binding.

- Example 2. Solidifies that both parties are serious about agreement
- Example 3. More complex documents will be signed at a later time
