What is a Semiconductor?
A semiconductor is essentially a material that consists of silicon variants. In comparison, a semiconductor can generate more electricity than a common insulator like glass. Conversely, a semiconductor is less pure than aluminum and copper. You can alter the properties of semiconductors through doping to meet the standard requirements of electronic components. You can find semiconductors in hundreds and thousands of mainstream products like smartphones, computers, appliances, medical equipment, and gaming hardware.
