What is an Uptime?
Uptime refers to a metric level that denotes the percentage of overall time an IT system, hardware, or device is operational. In layman’s terms, an uptime indicates that a system is functional. On the other hand, downtime points out that a system is not operational. Uptime ultimately spots the success level in real-time systems or services. IT professionals and experts use uptime to describe continuous operational time. You will typically find KPIs for uptime in internet SLAs .

- Example 1: Three-week uptime
- Example 2: Nine days uptime
- Example 3: Fifty-eight-minute uptime
