He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law, a Ph.D. in Spanish and Latin American Studies and a Master’s of International Studies from the University of Otago in New Zealand, and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Spanish, and International Studies from Northwest Nazarene University.
