Ryenne S.
My name is Ryenne Shaw and I help business owners build businesses that operate as assets instead of liabilities, increase in value over time and build wealth. My areas of expertise include corporate formation and business structure, contract law, employment/labor law, business risk and compliance and intellectual property. I also serve as outside general counsel to several businesses across various industries nationally. I spent most of my early legal career assisting C.E.O.s, General Counsel, and in-house legal counsel of both large and smaller corporations in minimizing liability, protecting business assets and maximizing profits. While working with many of these entities, I realized that smaller entities are often underserved. I saw that smaller business owners weren’t receiving the same level of legal support larger corporations relied upon to grow and sustain. I knew this was a major contributor to the ceiling that most small businesses hit before they’ve even scratched the surface of their potential. And I knew at that moment that all of this lack of knowledge and support was creating a huge wealth gap. After over ten years of legal experience, I started my law firm to provide the legal support small to mid-sized business owners and entrepreneurs need to grow and protect their brands, businesses, and assets. I have a passion for helping small to mid-sized businesses and startups grow into wealth-building assets by leveraging the same legal strategies large corporations have used for years to create real wealth. I enjoy connecting with my clients, learning about their visions and identifying ways to protect and maximize the reach, value and impact of their businesses. I am a strong legal writer with extensive litigation experience, including both federal and state (and administratively), which brings another element to every contract I prepare and the overall counsel and value I provide. Some of my recent projects include: - Negotiating & Drafting Commercial Lease Agreements - Drafting Trademark Licensing Agreements - Drafting Ambassador and Influencer Agreements - Drafting Collaboration Agreements - Drafting Service Agreements for service-providers, coaches and consultants - Drafting Master Service Agreements and SOWs - Drafting Terms of Service and Privacy Policies - Preparing policies and procedures for businesses in highly regulated industries - Drafting Employee Handbooks, Standard Operations and Procedures (SOPs) manuals, employment agreements - Creating Employer-employee infrastructure to ensure business compliance with employment and labor laws - Drafting Independent Contractor Agreements and Non-Disclosure/Non-Competition/Non-Solicitation Agreements - Conducting Federal Trademark Searches and filing trademark applications - Preparing Trademark Opinion Letters after conducting appropriate legal research - Drafting Letters of Opinion for Small Business Loans - Drafting and Responding to Cease and Desist Letters I service clients throughout the United States across a broad range of industries.
"Ryenne was amazing! Super efficient, on point, went through all my doubts and concerns, reviewed the agreement and email I needed and provided advice on the strategy moving forward. I will definitely recommend her work and would work with her again in the future. Thank you Ryenne!"

Developed risk-allocation strategies around indemnities, liability limits, flow-downs, multi-party contracting structures, and high-stakes project frameworks. Built contract playbooks, drafting standards, review matrices, and workflows designed to help clients understand their risks clearly and move deals forward with confidence. Provided training and guidance to internal teams and leadership on contract strategy, compliance considerations, and best practices. I bring not only legal expertise, but also a practical, problem-solving mindset—translating dense legal terms into actionable business decisions and helping clients protect their interests without losing momentum.

Dillon N.
I’m a real estate and tax attorney focused on helping property owners, investors, and businesses navigate the legal and financial sides of real estate. At Relias Law Group, I work on everything from tax assessment appeals to real estate closings and pre-acquisition due diligence. My goal is always the same: make sure clients are protected, well-informed, and getting the most out of their investments. Before this chapter of my career, I spent years in corporate law and litigation, handling deals, disputes, and everything in between. That experience gave me a strong foundation in business law and a good sense of how to get things done practically, not just legally. Along the way, I got interested in how law firms actually work — and more importantly, how they can work better. I’ve helped build and lead legal innovation efforts, introduced new tech and workflows, and worked hands-on with law firms and legal tech companies to modernize how we deliver legal services. I like solving problems, building systems, and making the legal process smoother for everyone involved. Outside of work, I’m a proud dad, lifelong learner, and occasional sailor who believes law should be as human-centered and forward-thinking as the people it serves.

Pilot Engagement Agreement Template Review — IRR/ALM Advisory (Illinois LLC)
"Solid substantive work on a B2B services agreement review. Danny strengthened the data rights, IP, and liability sections with precise definitions and useful statutory references, delivered ahead of schedule, and his cover memo was clear and well-organized. Would hire again."
Reply From Danny J.
Hi Rohit, Thank you very much for your kind words and positive feedback. I’m glad the revisions and memo met your expectations and that I could deliver ahead of schedule. It was a pleasure working with you, and I look forward to the possibility of collaborating again in the future!

"Solid drafting work on a B2B paid services agreement with a nuanced surcharge model. Daehoon delivered on time across two rounds, cited actual Illinois case law where relevant, and proactively flagged edge cases I hadn't specifically asked about. His initial bid was the sharpest of the seven I received — he clearly read the parameters carefully. One note for future buyers: scope discipline runs both ways with him. He'll flag scope creep quickly and quote a supplemental fee (in my case $600 on a $1,200 base) for revisions beyond the follow-up envelope. That's fair and clearly communicated, but budget for it if you expect iteration. Would hire again for drafting work where scope is well-defined upfront."
Reply From Daehoon P.
Thank you. The supplemental fee applied to additional work beyond the agreed follow-up scope, with the additional scope and fee agreed in advance. I generally include reasonable clarifications, related revisions, and corrections necessary to complete the agreed deliverables without an additional fee. In this case, the supplemental fee applied only after the requested work materially expanded beyond the agreed follow-up scope, with the additional scope and fee agreed in advance. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

"Zoom meeting to review the contract. Would have loved for her to mark-up the contract for the fee charged, but I was able to take notes during the call."
Reply From Ryenne S.
Thanks for your feedback, Tarra. The project bid outlines what is included in the scope, and your project bid did not request redlines. Additionally, although only one Zoom call was included in the scope (and you were only charged for one meeting), we had two meetings as a courtesy to you, to accommodate your schedule. I’d have been happy to redline your agreement for you, but given that it was 25 pages, quite detailed, and would have required at least two additional hours of my time beyond what the initial scope required, I would not have been able to do that free of charge. However, I would have been more than happy to redline the agreement for you, had you conveyed that to me at some point. Thank you for your business!
