What is a Motor Vehicle Lease Agreement?
A motor vehicle lease agreement is an arrangement between a vehicle owner and another party. They agree to allow the other party to use their car for a specified period. The most common type of leasing agreement is that people sign when they purchase new vehicles.
A less common but equally important kind of leasing agreement is when an employee enters into with their employer if the company decides to give the employee a company-owned vehicle. Again, the company may choose to do this instead of reimbursing mileage or providing other business transportation reimbursement.
