Customer:
Does anyone have guidance on 'reasonable salary' for me, owner of a single member LLC, filing as an s-corp that does data analytics? My accountant has helped me set everything up, has said he 'doesnt do salary recommendations', so I basically have to give him a number. Online I read about '50-50', '60-40', or 'dont have payroll go below 40%' Initially, I was doing $50K payroll on $120K total income (payroll + owner distribution) I am now wanting to pay myself more so I'm proposing to bump it up to $80K payroll on $150K total income (payroll + owner distributions) Just wanted to see if this passes the smell test and if there's someone I can call for like a quick consultation to give me peace of mind on the numbers (since my accountant wont do this) In terms of 'reasonable salary' If I applied as a 'data analyst' that's like $80K/year, if I went back to working at a large tech company as a mid level manager, that could be $200k+ (but if I used that number, then that wouldn't yield any real advantage to using the scorp)

Is a Dry-Hire mobile bartending service legal in WI? Meaning we do not buy or sell any alcohol. We provide cups, napkins, straws, garnishes, a portable bar, and a server. The "client" provides us with the beverages served.

PLLC Operating Agreement

Customer:
How to structure payroll between a Texas PLLC and a California PC for legal and tax compliance. I own a business in Texas (PLLC) that is a professional business where I am the owner and only W-2. I have moved to California and have remained owner/W-2 for this company in Texas, but also am registered with the California EDD to ensure taxes are paid in this state since that's where I live. I started another business in California (Professional Corporation), because I am not allowed to have an LLC in California therefore I cannot register my current PLLC in this state. This new business has not earned any income yet, so my initial questions are: 1. How do I make myself a W-2 for this new company? I will remain a W-2 for my other company as well. I had a tax professional do this for my previous business, but I am wanting to do this myself this time. 2. My current billing platforms directly pay my PLLC. Is it legal to just have my current PLLC pay the PC for services rendered because of how the platform works, or do I need to have services going directly to the company (either PLLC or PC)?

Lawn Care Contract

Customer:
Dispute with customer for lawn maintenance I am having a dispute with a customer for my lawn maintenance company about some shrubs we cut back. They said we butchered them when we pruned them and want us to replace them at no cost. We say they are already diseased and in poor shape. We cut them back according to their instructions. Its a very long row of mature shrubs and would cost us thousands to replace.

Hello! My name is Dolan and thank you so much for contacting me! I just had a few quick questions for you: Did they ever tell you how far they wanted them pruned back? Was the pruning necessary to maintain the health of the shrub?

I never knew how difficult it was to obtain representation or a lawyer, and ContractsCounsel was EXACTLY the type of service I was hoping for when I was in a pinch. Working with their service was efficient, effective and made me feel in control. Thank you so much and should I ever need attorney services down the road, I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

I got 5 bids within 24h of posting my project. I choose the person who provided the most detailed and relevant intro letter, highlighting their experience relevant to my project. I am very satisfied with the outcome and quality of the two agreements that were produced, they actually far exceed my expectations.
