What is a Broker?
A broker refers to a firm or individual that offers its services as an intermediary between a financial product or security and a borrower or investor. In real estate, this often refers to the mortgage broker who provides the mortgage to the buyer of the home. Today, brokers offer comprehensive services that get compensated through fees, commission, or exchange.
