What is a Closing Agent?
A closing agent, or settlement agent, is an individual who offers professional assistance to the buyer and seller to close a real estate transaction. Closing agents are experienced individuals who primarily work on behalf of the buyer and communicate the terms and conditions to the seller. Closing agents make sure the real estate transaction closes without issues and smooth transfer of ownership takes place.
