What is a Title Search?
Note that a title search involves going through or examining public records regarding a piece of real estate or property in order to ensure that the current property owner has the legal right to transfer ownership. The property title may not contain all the updated and relevant information about liens on a property.
A title search is comprehensive and looks for all local records in order to uncover all available information regarding a property.
