What is a Management Fee?
When a stockholder uses an investment manager to take care of their portfolio, they often pay the manager a management fee in exchange for the services. This fee covers investment management services such as stock selection and portfolio building and can vary based on the amount of time a manager spends on the portfolio and the extensiveness of their expertise in the field.
