What is Code Freeze?
A code freeze refers to a period where developers can no longer make product changes. It is a proven process that offers stability to system processes like integration, performance, security testing, and functions. It is crucial to understand that code freeze occurs in the last software development stages.
A typical freeze code is not subject to changes by one or more developers. But if critical defects arise, developers can get the approval to assume control of code and make relevant changes to fix the critical defects.
