What is a Google bomb?
We can define a Google bomb, also known as Google wash, as an attempt to change or influence the ranking of a specific website in results fetched by the Google search engine. Note that people engage in Google-bombing for political, business, or comedic purposes. The first Google bomb was unleashed in 1999.
A person can deploy a Google bomb by creating links on existing or new web pages, and all those pages point to a specific target page.
