What is an Accelerator?
Accelerators are fixed-term investments that last up to 12 months. They offer startups unique opportunities to invest and incubate with angel investors, grant providers, and other organizations. An acceleration creates knowledge and investment efficiencies which is why they are so popular with startup companies.

Examples of accelerator characteristics include:
