Project Description

In 2024, a personal client in Florida sought assistance with a home improvement contract review. The client was concerned about the implications of a newly signed agreement for a roof installation, particularly regarding rising homeowners insurance costs and the potential consequences that could arise from the contract's language. With questions about possible liens and risks to their home, they needed clarity on the legal jargon and implications of the terms they had agreed to. As a result, the client received four proposals from licensed attorneys, with flat fee bids ranging from $375 to $895, all submitted to meet the client's requested deadline of less than a week.

Getting ripped off and over charged

Signed a contract and was told I'm getting top of the line products and I'm actually getting a lesser grade everything. I called within the 3 days and the contractor won't cancel the contract. I can't afford to be ripped off...

I suggest you place a proposal on this forum so lawyers can review and you can schedule a consultation. A lawyer needs to review the terms of the contract you reference.
