Project Description

In 2024, a personal client in California sought assistance with drafting a specific contract to protect their property during a roofing project. The client needed a hold harmless agreement tailored to laborers who do not carry their own insurance, ensuring that any injuries sustained on the premises would not affect their property insurance. This contract was a critical component of the client's overall plans for the home improvement project, which was expected to last 14 days and have an estimated budget of $10,000. As a result, the client received two proposals from licensed attorneys, with flat fee bids ranging from $750 to $865, all submitted to meet the client's requested deadline of over one week.

Getting ripped off and over charged

Signed a contract and was told I'm getting top of the line products and I'm actually getting a lesser grade everything. I called within the 3 days and the contractor won't cancel the contract. I can't afford to be ripped off...

I suggest you place a proposal on this forum so lawyers can review and you can schedule a consultation. A lawyer needs to review the terms of the contract you reference.
