Project Description

In 2022, a personal client in North Carolina posted a project seeking assistance with a home improvement contract. The client aimed to legally cancel the contract for a screen room due to what they believed was a breach of contract, specifically citing the absence of a detailed specifications sheet that was supposed to be annexed. After waiting for four months for the work to begin without any progress, the client sought clarity on whether the lack of the specifications constituted a valid breach. As a result, the client received three proposals from licensed lawyers, with flat fee bids ranging from $500 to $850, all submitted to meet the requested deadline of less than one week.

Getting ripped off and over charged

Signed a contract and was told I'm getting top of the line products and I'm actually getting a lesser grade everything. I called within the 3 days and the contractor won't cancel the contract. I can't afford to be ripped off...

I suggest you place a proposal on this forum so lawyers can review and you can schedule a consultation. A lawyer needs to review the terms of the contract you reference.
